Micro dermal needling may be used on many parts of the body, not just the face. The neck, décolleté, arms, hands, legs, abdomen and back are all excellent places to use micro dermal needling. This procedure can be used to correct: Mild-to-moderate acne scarring Fine lines and wrinkles Skin tone and texture Pore size Hyperpigmentation Stretch marks Traumatic Scars Loose and lax skin Micro dermal needling utilizes an MDPen, or a small, wand-like device for fractional micro needling. If the word ‘needles’ sounds scary, don’t be alarmed. A topic antiseptic keeps you comfortable while the MD Pen does its work. The tiny needles create very small punctures, which the body heals with collagen, your skin’s natural tissue. It’s this healing process and enhanced production of collagen that smooths and tightens the skin. Microneedling harnesses your body’s natural abilities to rejuvenate and revitalize scars, pigmented areas, and much more for a smoother appearance. Whether you would like a facial wrinkle softener, acne scar removal, or to remove fine lines, this procedure might be a great choice. To learn more, please make an appointment with Bruggeman Aesthetics & Plastic Surgery. We’re delighted to welcome you and to explain this and other procedures to you in order to help you achieve your goals.
